Even though you have already installed and configured a Terminal Server license Server, you can not connect to a Terminal Server with the Remote Desktop Client from some individual clients. Some other will work.

The following error occurs:

The remote session was disconnected because there are no Terminal Server client access licenses available for this computer. Please contact the server administrator.

There may be some inconstancy in the MSLicensing RegistryKey. To resolve this close all instances of mstsc.exe, start regedit.exe, navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSLicensing

and backup the key by using the export function of regedit.

Then delete the key. If you got an access denied error, you have to take the ownership and set the necassary rights for deleting the key.

In the most cases this solves the problem.
