Windows 20H2 : No sound (Intel HD Audio) after feature/branch upgrade

Hi,

a customer have some issues with the sound of its notebook (Medion) after upǵrading to Windows 20H2.

The symtoms are:
-No sound, speaker symbole in systray has a red cross and says no audio devices are installed.
-Intel HD Audio has a warning in device manager. Installing of a driver always fails.
-The installation of the latest Realtek Intel fails with Error -0001

Solution:

Open the Windows device manager, in view, enable show hidden devices.

Then Uninstall:
-In section Audio, Video, Gamecontroller all Intel HD device (Uninstall and delete files)
-In section Audio In- Output all Intel devices
-In Section System devices all devices with Intel smart sound technology

After uninstalling all these devices a new Realtek Audio device is found, then the realtek driver could installed an all works as expect.
